At first, 6180 the moon may seem like a simple platformer game that doesn't differ much from the many other games of the same type. Things aren't exactly so, as this game comes with innovative game mechanics and offers a rather unique gameplay experience. It connects the top and bottom of the screen and eliminates the “slipping to death” gameplay part in order to allow you to perform much longer jumps and experience a much more fluid gameplay.

As for the graphics, 6180 the moon is unfortunately visually unimpressive. The visuals are overly simplistic and there was obviously no effort put into them by the game's developers. As for the soundtrack, things are completely different. There's delightful background music that can relax you even when the gameplay gets pretty frustrating.

6180 the moon also comes with a simple little storyline based on the disappearance of the Sun and the Moon's journey to find it. It attempts to be cute or with hidden profound meanings, but it ended up seeming superficial and a bit cheesy to me, with pretentious dialogs between planets.

Another downside may be the fact that the game is rather short, with somewhat few levels to complete. Anyway, thanks to the unique gameplay mechanics, it can also prove to be quite challenging, and definitely addictive as well.

In conclusion, though it also has some obvious flaws, this little game also has plenty of cool parts that make it earn my recommendation. If you enjoy playing simple platformers, you'll surely enjoy playing 6180 the moon too.
